Pidgeons have lived in Shropshire for several centuries. Parish registers suggest there were families in several villages before the beginning of the existing records. And there are wills which suggest there were Pidgeons at Upton Magna in the 15th century. Carol Oakley of Walsall has scoured many of these old wills, and sent me the details of family relationships which they contain. This has made it possible to relate most of the early Pidgeons of Shropshire for which records exits, although sometime with educated guesses. The tree of family trees below is the result.
